Scenario 1: Order in “Unfulfilled” Status
Procedure:
Step 1 – Shopify (Merchant Actionable):
Change the address in Shopify.
No further steps required.
Scenario 2: Order in “Ready to Fulfill” or “Processing Delivery” Status
Procedure:
Step 1 – Shopify and Merchant Portal (Merchant Actionable):
Update the address in Shopify.
In the Merchant Portal, update the “Internal Notes” section with the following details:
CHANGE ADDRESS REQUIRED [Address Line 1] [Address Line 2 (if applicable)] [City] [Province] [Country] [Postal Code]
Scenario 3: Order in “Fulfilled” Status
Note:
Changes made in the portal or Shopify will no longer be captured once an order has been fulfilled.
If an address change is required after fulfillment, the merchant or customer must contact the carrier directly:
