How do I obtain a quote for a shipment?

If you need to be provided with quoted rates for a shipment for a 3rd Party Carrier, GoBolt can certainly provide this information. This does include parcel shipments and LTL/ freight shipments as well.  These quotes can provide insight into direct cost, estimated transit time, carrier name and provide a wide range of carrier specific services (ie. expedited vs standard) or (ie. tailgate required or heated services). 

 

Important: Please note that we are only able to provide quoted rates for any items that we currently have in stock presently at any of the GoBolt facilities and we are unable to pull any quotes for items we do not possess.

 

How I do obtain a shipping quote from GoBolt? 

1. Please create an order in the GoBolt Portal. Do note that if you do not intend on having this eventually be fulfilled by our team, we still require an active order to pull any rates. Please see this guide if you need any assistance in creating an order. 

 

2. Indicate in the order's internal notes: "Quote required prior to fulfillment" - to ensure that our warehouse team does not process this order for fulfillment. Be sure to specifiy if you'd like a parcel or LTL shipment quote or any additional services required (such as heated service or a specific carrier you'd like to use etc.)

3. Please reach out to our merchant support team via support@gobolt.ca to let them know that you require a shipping quote, prior to fulfillment. 

 

4. The support team will coordinate with our warehouse teams to stage the shipment, measure and weigh the proposed items to provide an accurate quote. 

 

5. The support team will reach out to your organization in the thread, providing the quoted rates. 

 

 

Once GoBolt provides a quote for shipping, are my rates guaranteed?

Quoted rates are not guaranteed, but rather they are pulled in live time based on various factors carrier availability, weather conditions and transit times etc. Due to the nature of our business and system limitations, we require an active order, in-stock items and intended destination as we are only able to provide accurate rates at the time of request. Therefore, rates are subject to change and are not guaranteed.
